Our amazing new Creative Arts Project launched on Friday 12 February and we are looking for more people to get involved!
The new Creative Arts Project, being run in conjunction with Ruah, 360 Health + Community, APM - Advanced Personnel Management and Partners In Recovery offers a fantastic range of FREE creative workshops that will be run for people whose lives have been made difficult through a severe and persistent mental illness, disability or traumatic life event. Workshop details can be seen below.
The range of 11 free workshops, which will run on a weekly/fortnightly basis across Perth, and which culminate in an exhibition in May, include group singing, body percussion and dance, build and play your own ‘Junk’ instrument, comedy, song writing, photography, art and many more.
The workshops will give participants the opportunity to develop strategies to cope with anxiety, depression and overcome isolation, loneliness and social disconnection. These workshops are for people experiencing mental health challenges, their family, friends, carers and support workers who work in this space.
