The Role of Not for Profits and Active Citizenship

The Role of Not for Profits and Active Citizenship

The need for active citizens will increase exponentially as the Western Australian community adjusts to changes in the not for profit sector, being part of a global economy and the impact of competition policy.

As a senior leader in the WA not for profit sector, Sue Ash AO is committed to making sure that WA is ready for these changes. This paper, launched and discussed at a forum hosted by The McCusker Centre for Citizenship on 29 June 2016, draws together key policy changes that are impacting not for profit organisations and individuals committed to making a positive contribution to the community in which they live and work.

If you download this paper, Sue Ash would appreciate you sending a brief email to her at sue.ash@unitingcarewest.org.au to let her know how you will be using it.
