Family Care Worker - Parenting and Family Services

> 1 x FTE Permanent position
> $54,652 to $59,506 per year plus super plus leave loading

The position provides in home child focused parenting and support services for vulnerable families who may require general parenting support, or who are, or may be at risk of being involved with the Department for Child Protection and Family Support.

This important role is responsible for the provision of a range of therapeutic and support services to adults, children and families who are experiencing complex personal and relationship difficulties. Live in Primary and Respite Carers
Our Family Group Home Carers work as part of a team to provide a safe, nurturing and ’healing’ home environment for children and young people who cannot live at home. Some of the benefits of this role include rent free accommodation in a furnished, wellappointed home; payment of utilities and food; and access to a car for use while you’re with the children/young people.

Part Time and Casual Support Workers
Our Support Workers are people who want to have an active role in the lives of children and young people and who can assist them to attain goals related to education, social inclusion, sport, and overall wellbeing. These roles are part time and/or casual and work in partnership with the Live in Carers.

For all roles, qualifications in community services, social work, children services or relevant experience is desirable.

Senior Case Worker - Family Group Homes

Our Family Group Homes program has an existing vacancy for an experienced social worker/psychologist or similarly trained person. You will be working intensively with children and young people in our care who have experienced abuse and related trauma.

What do we ask of you?
• Proven case management & assessment skills

A current national police clearance and working with children check are essential for these positions as is a current class C driving license.
