Community Service Business Analyst

  • Full-time role based in Victoria Park
  • $78,990 per annum + salary packaging + 5 weeks annual leave + leave loading

UnitingCare West is looking for an outstanding person to identify and submit thoroughly researched tender and grant applications to enable UnitingCare West to build its breadth and depth of services relative to strategic targets.  The successful candidate will model exemplary personal drive and integrity to ensure UnitingCare West’s ethos is consistently reflected in our service practices.

The role also includes key areas such as assisting in identifying and nurturing collaborations and partnerships, supporting new services through the set up process inclusive of embedding the UCW outcomes and impact measurements system, and contract set up in our systems.   

You will report directly to the Deputy CEO and your role will involve liaising with all UCW staff and external organisations affiliated with UnitingCare West and the services it provides to clients. 

The ideal candidate must demonstrate:

  • The ability to work at both a strategic and a functional level.
  • Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills.
  • Exceptional relationship building and management skills (both internally and externally) with a view to strong stakeholder management and building partnerships.
  • Experience in analysing market opportunities and developing business cases for potential new products and services.
  • Project/program research and development skills and abilities that are readily translated into outcome focussed services and activities.
  • A sound understanding of community service.
  • A strong background in Community Service, the Not For Profit sector or in Government.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or commensurate experience and professional development.

You must be able to obtain a Working With Children Clearance, a National Police Clearance (or have one that is less than six months old) and hold a WA driver’s licence for this position.
