UnitingCare West's 2013 Winter Appeal

This year, everyone is taking their support of homelessness a step further.

UnitingCare West services such as Tranby Day Centre, Homeless Accommodation Service, Street to Home, Private Tenancy Support Service and Wyn Carr House work tirelessly with people experiencing homelessness, or who are at risk of becoming homeless. These services will issue hundreds of emergency food vouchers, provide counselling to help budget for winter and assist those moving from homelessness to more secure accommodation.

Over the last 12 months, we have managed to provide emergency relief to more than 2,900 people. Unfortunately though, our service centres were unable to help more than 3,500 people looking for financial assistance. This included accommodation requests, help with rental arrears and other financial hardship issues.

How will you take your support a step further? Support our services and ensure those who are homeless or living in poverty have access to food and shelter this winter. Help us deliver long-term solutions and enable those who are struggling to get their lives back on track.
