Cornerstone: UnitingCare West's new values booklet.

  

This month saw UnitingCare West launch its new values booklet.

Cornerstone provides an extensive but accessible overview of the organisation’s values and the reasons for the work they do and services they provide.

The basis for UnitingCare West’s values comes from the concept of ERIIC, standing for empathy, respect, inclusiveness, integrity and commitment.

Chief Executive Officer Sue Ash spoke of ERIIC and how important it is to the organisation’s work.

“Our values are more than just words, they’re at the core of our inclusive organisation,” Ms Ash said.

“They are the cornerstone of our progressive approach as we support and empower those most in need within our community, and inform our work practices and decision making.”
