Emergency Relief
UnitingCare West’s emergency relief service assists people with immediate financial crises.
Assistance is generally in the form of food cards or part payment of outstanding utility bills or other accounts. The service is an important gateway to other services and support programs that may help with more complex issues.
As there is a high demand for this service, appointments are necessary.
Please note the Merriwa office provides food cards and some bill payments to single parents and young families. They provide food cards for others requiring assistance.
