Rainbow Project

The Rainbow Project provides friendship to adults with a mental illness through the assistance of volunteers. The service provides connection and support for individuals who are socially isolated through:

  • A community lunch and a social chat in a relaxed and friendly environment, in various locations in the Perth metropolitan area
  • A one-to-one befriending service that matches volunteers to individuals with a mental illness
  • The Journey of Hope worship services and supper, providing spiritual support during the recovery journey at Mandurah and Maylands

The lunch and befriending services are supported by funding from the Australian Government under the Home and Community Care Program.
