Rainbow Project
The Rainbow Project provides friendship to adults with a mental illness through the assistance of volunteers. The service provides connection and support for individuals who are socially isolated through:
- A community lunch and a social chat in a relaxed and friendly environment, in various locations in the Perth metropolitan area
- A one-to-one befriending service that matches volunteers to individuals with a mental illness
- The Journey of Hope worship services and supper, providing spiritual support during the recovery journey at Como/Manning, Mandurah and Maylands
The lunch and befriending services are supported by funding from the Australian Government under the Home and Community Care Program.
