People with Disabilities

UnitingCare West’s disability services are designed to enable us to walk alongside people living with a disability to assist them in achieving the lives they want.

We support people both in their home environment and outside of their home in a variety of ways. The idea of home is different for everyone and UnitingCare West provides support to allow individuals to live in shared housing, to live alone or to live with their family.

Our services also give people the choice to become part of social and recreational centre-based activities, social groups, community activities, or to have the opportunity to explore alternatives to employment.

UnitingCare West can also assist in upholding people’s rights through the Individual Disability Advocacy Service.
