What is Emergency Relief?
Emergency Relief can support you with an immediate financial crisis. Some difficulties you might be having include:
- Inability to pay overdue utility bills
- Unexpected expenses associated with family needs such as medication
- You have no or little food
You will be supported to prepare and manage a household budget, and where you need it, we can refer you to other appropriate support services.
Who is Emergency Relief for?
This service is available to people who are Health Care card holders / Centrelink recipients only.
How Can I get Involved?
Due to the high demand for this support, you will need to make an appointment.
Appointments are available at the following locations:
For an appointment at our Inner City Service Centre in East Perth, call 08 9220 1255 each Tuesday at 11.00am for an appointment on Wednesday or Thursday.
For an appointment at our Merriwa Service Centre, call 08 9220 1255 each Wednesday at 10.00am for an appointment on Thursday or Friday.
