Supporting you to understand your rights

Your Say is a free, independent and confidential advocacy service.

Advocacy is standing alongside or speaking on the behalf of people, to assist and support people to represent their rights and interests.

We promote and protect the rights of people living in the Perth Metropolitan area with disability and those who identify as having a mental health issue.

Our broad definition of disability includes (but is not limited to): intellectual, physical, behavioural, psychiatric, emotional, medical, neurological, mental health and long term diseases.

We can support you to:

  • Express your views and stand up for your rights
  • Resolve any issues or concerns
  • Build capacity to access services in your community
  • Develop confidence and skills to advocate for yourself

We can advocate for you and provide information on issues relating to:

  • NDIS
  • Finances
  • Housing
  • Education
  • Employment
  • Community participation and inclusion
  • Human rights
  • Neglect or abuse
  • Health
  • Transport
  • Discrimination
  • And many other issues
