UnitingCare West (UCW) firmly rejects recent media reports suggesting the organisation is planning to withdraw delivering National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) services.

CEO Amanda Hunt said “UCW remains committed to providing individualised services to people with disability and won’t be withdrawing from the NDIS.

“As a registered NDIS provider, UCW works with people with disability and the people they trust to support decisions about what services best suit their unique needs.

“The roll-out of the scheme does present a number of challenges for disability service providers, but UCW is committed to walking alongside people with disability to ensure that they experience a life of hope, belonging and purpose,” Ms Hunt said.

UnitingCare West provides targeted and integrated services focussed on delivering local solutions to local communities, serving over 30,000 people each year.
