At our Annual Public Meeting for 2019, held this year on 12 March 2020, we released our new Strategic Plan.
Officially launched by UnitingCare West (UCW) Chairperson Erica Haddon, the Uniting WA Strategic Plan 2020-2023 outlines our strategic direction and how we aim to change lives and communities for the better over the next four years. The release of the Plan also showcases the exciting evolution of our name and brand to Uniting WA in the coming months.
Ms Haddon and fellow UCW Board members were joined at the event by UCW Chief Executive Officer Amanda Hunt, Uniting Church WA Moderator-Elect Susy Thomas, members of the UCW team and members of our Uniting Church community.
Carol Innes, Manager Aboriginal Cultural Heritage & Arts at Development WA and Co-Chair of Reconciliation WA, provided a heartfelt address and performed the Welcome to Country alongside fellow Elder Djidi-Djidi Josey Hansen, UCW’s Executive Cultural Architect.
Thank you to all who attended and helped celebrate our exciting future.
